My guess is that it will be another Marmite thing - and I quite like it. For example it might fit well in an old ?Elizabethan house surrounded by oil paintings.

Did you use a standard PS filter for the effect?

It has a ghostly feel to it....but also the look of one of them photographs from a seaside photo booth thingy

Nope, did nothing but bring the exposure, contrast and saturation up in Aperture after taking an extremely underexposed shot at ISO 6400.

I agree about the ghostly feel - I think that is why I thought it would look good amongst oil paintings in an old house
