Noki Maps query.

I have a 5800 and have downloaded the free sat nav, which is great. However I have to have a web pack add on with Vodafone. Now, I've heard that if I download the maps or something, there are no data charges?

If anyone knows, could you please enlighten me?

You can use the Nokia Map downloader tool to save mapping onto your phone memory card, for the UK its only around 400mb, saves it downloading as you go along.

Thanks I will download it. Do you know if that means there are no i ternet charges as it is not constantly updating?

Download and install the OVI map installer to your pc then plug the usb cable into your phone. You will then be able to download and install all the maps you require direct to your phone without having any need for your phone access anythnig.

Do we really need to use the PC suite to use the map loader to install maps, or can we just connect the phone by wlan or whatever and install maps ?
I don't want Nokia apps on my pc...
