Nokia N95 gps help!!!

My daugther has one of the above & after reading that someone on here had one & uses the GPS on it, I had a quick look at hers.

Anyway when I zoomed into my address on the maps there are red icons & when you select it, a persons address & telephone number comes up?
(there are a few on there)

It's no one we know & my daughter didn't even know about the maps thing until I told her.
The phone is only a few days old.

Do you think its a reconditioned phone?:shrug:

Any help appreciated.

sounds like a reconditioned phone.

you can delete these self made markers. think you go into find place, scroll down to landmarks and select then just delete them (press cancel or c key)

Never seen that on mine, so possibly could be something from a previous owner?
Although to be honest I've no idea how you'd configure it - the only way I can think it'd work is if there were people's full addresses stored in the contacts list.
