Anyone got one, I have seen some damning reviews and some good reviews, been offered 1 for my laptop not sure what to do need some advice if anyone on here has 1.

I got one as my free upgrade - best thing for me... it actually has a ringtone that sounds like a phone!!!

Oh - and I use almost NONE of the fancy bits - I'm a bit old-school on such and simply wanted a phone and the rest of the capabilities are a bit naff to me

That said, I've had slidey phones, flip phones and phones where you actually had to press things  And this one is fine by me :) though I find battery life to be nothing special

Thanks Lukas it looks like the web browsing wont be much good, cheers for your info DD much appreciated.

Julian, I know your phone is broken and you will be mainly using it for browsing, but have you thought about picking up a cheap phone for texting/radio and a 2nd hand iPod touch or Archos wifi enabled tablet? Should be able to get both the cost of a new 'smartphone'.

The X6 is a good smartphone, but it depends what you want it for.

The X6 now has free sat nav with Ovi Maps, web browsing will be slow, but everything else should work fine.

I havnt thought of the Ipod touch, because of limited space at bedside I was only looking at all in 1 but I get what you mean.

Should be able to pick up a iPod Touch for around £80 used. Great for browsing, can get photography apps on it etc.

Depends what phone your coming from. If youve never touched a nexus or iphone then it will be fine. Ive used a nexus for a while and find it brilliant. Used the nokia x6 for about 5 mins and found symbian really old fashoined by comparison.
