A few weeks back I stayed in Seahouses in Northumberland. Here are some shots taken from the immediate area. (The castle that features in a number of the pictures is Bamburgh Castle.)

The band of clouds give a nice burst of orange colour to the photo and again on the reflection in the water at the bottom.

Thanks for the feedback... and yes, I like how those colours reflect. Pity I didn't notice it with the naked eye at the time as otherwise I'd have tried a few more shots from that angle.

Living not far away(just outside of newcastle), its good to see some shots of the NE, makes us feel all warm and wanted

It is beautiful up there, isn't it? I actually come from Cumbria so we have plenty of beauty here, too, but I still enjoy my visits to your part of the world.

BTW... I had a bit of fun with one of the images when someone else told me they lacked impact a little...
