Non UK Northern Lights & Highlights of Iceland

Hi guys, looking at going to Iceland in January or February and trying to plan a few trips.

Could anyone suggest maybe a Northern Light trip which they highly recommend. I have googled it but jesus there are soo many available I don't know where to begin. In terms of location which parts of Iceland would be more ideal for photo locations ? I have seen a few with a lovely conical shape mountain as a backdrop, something like that.

Obviously it's not just about the Northern Lights so if you have been what are the things not to miss?!

Thanks for any suggestions, will help me try narrow it down

....not cheap, but then nothing in Iceland is! I have booked shared tours to The Golden Circle and a 2 day one to Jokulsarlon.

I went with Wild Photography holidays. Our main base was 10 minutes drive from Jukulsarlon so some great shots over the ice lagoon and also the possibility of light reflections, and more time spent playing on the ice beach. I wouldn't bother with a tour at all, just do it yourself. Head along the South coast where there is little light pollution and you'll be able to see the lights if you're lucky. There's plenty of amazing waterfalls and other things to use as foreground.
