Not used it for so long I've forgotten how to access the actuation count on my 1DII

Well, I haven't used my EOS 1DII since I cannot remember when. :shrug:

So, given that I shoot a lot of film these days and much less digital maybe it's time to give it a new home. :shrug::shrug:

I'm putting an advert together and will post that correctly when I've taken some new photos but, please, can someone remind me how to access the total number of actuations?

I bought it here in 2011 with a low actuation count of under/close to 20000 and I doubt that I've added 2k but I ought to check properly.

rom what I've seen on these forums there isn't a way to tell online. Most people use www.eoscount.com but I don't think it works with the earlier 1D models. I've just ordered a 1D MkIII that has an estimated count of 30-40K but I don't know for certain. Also AFAIK Canon wont give you a shutter count unless it goes in for repair.

I may be completely wrong and someone with experience of finding a 1D shutter count will come on and give you a definitive answer. I'll be checking back to see if anyone knows so I can find it for my 1D MkIII that I'm getting on tuesday.
