I previously posted a thread about how I transferred photographs to lino prints. Can't find the the thread for the life of me, so here we go again.
I made these plates from film photograph I took on holiday recently. I chose the high contrast, graphic quality so I could use them for lino and woodcutting.
Negatives scanned using Epson V700, printed on a laser printer, transferred to each block using acrylic transfer medium. The copying medium is the paper base of the laser print which is removed mechanically with water and elbow grease.
The middle two blocks are birch plywood so I'm hoping for a more incisive out come. Lino is a pretty coarse medium to work.
Keep you posted on progress.
