The second shot is the better of the two.
I have looked at your Exif, and I am showing 200mm f4 1/250 ISO 400, which lens are you using?
I also see that you have -0.3 ev adjustment, not sure that you need this, under exposure is more likely to give you noisy images.
Were these handheld or on a tripod?
The 1st image is soft and under exposed, the 2nd looks slightly (about 0.3) under exposed, but is much crisper.

A little noisy and soft as Martyn says but take nothing away from great composition and lovely perch for the Nuthatch, A fantastic bird to image and one i will never get
