Cheers Ant, I went out looking for a KF today - I saw him but he was gone in a flash of blueness. I used my tripod for the first time today as well to see if I could get sharper shots :)

Great work Alison ... love your camera angle and the stance of #2 - you must have lain flat on the ground to capture these, unless your D90 has a live view swivel monitor? Even so ... :)

Thanks Mark, I wasn't quite lying down for these - the nuthatches were on the top of a stone bridge and I managed to get quite close to them which makes a nice change :)
