Pretty good series, I particularly like 5,6 and 8 I think the colour tone makes it more interesting. :)

The setup was is a D60 with Tamron 90mm Macro and Sigma Ring Flash + a gold reflector.

Here's another one.

They're really cool, nice one :)

Only C+C I would give is that personally I prefer a dead-on centre crop, non of this rule of thirds with something so symmetrical. But just a personal preference :)

Thanks for the comments, I did do one or two with the 'rule of thirds' in mind but some are uncropped so just came out that way :)

I really like these. Having attempted some similar shots a while ago, knowing how hard I found them to do, these are fantastic.

I'd be very interested to see a diagram/explanation of your lighting setup. When I did mine I used a softbox over the top of the water with a black background. I didnt think of using a reflector!

For the lighting I used a black background with some cheap 12" gold reflectors in an open V shape. The camera with Sigma Ring flash was setup at the enterence to the V just above the bowl.

I used straight water for the clear shots in a white bowl and a for the others Flat Cherry Coke + Milk in a black bowl.

Next time I try I'll photo my shoddy setup :p
