I have just got an Alpha 350, and to be honest, am only just entering the world of DSLR's.
I am looking for a flashgun I can use on a lightstand with a 30" umbrella which i already have, for as cheap as possible.
The problem I am having is the Sony hotshoe fitting not being compatible with most of the cheaper flashguns. I have some cactus triggers being given to me, but they have standard hotshoe, so cant be connected to the sony hotshoe.
If anyone has a cheap solution for me it would be appreciated.
I have been told about hotshoe adapters, and if this is a suitable solution, can somebody recommend the bits I will need.
