OK, so I guess we are never happy, but it was time for a new site

Well, after mulling it over for a while, I thought my old website was just not focused enough towards my images, so I have built a new one and have started going in a new direction with things.

I completely knackered all my hard work with SEO, by killing my old links and screwing up the re-directs (which is more than a little bit of a pain in the arse) but I will just have to start my SEO from scratch again :(

For now, its up and running and I am just trying to fix an issue with captioning on my documentary images, but as soon as thats done its all finished.

The site is image heavy I know, but I feel this is the right way to do it.

Let me know what you think...

Looks OK viewing on my iPhone. Not convinced by the colour of 'James Stone' in the top left though, just feels too bright and fluorescent in an otherwise subdued colour scheme.

Looks good to me, bit surprised you didn't make the link to your courses somewhat more prominent though

Wow, great site.
The only picky thing is the 'Read More' image buttons on the blog. I guess these are part of the blogging software but the font aliasing is making the text fuzzy.

Thanks for the feedback

@Rich, I know I should make more of a noise about it, but I havent decided whether to do the full plug or not, I will mull this one over... thanks for noticing that part.

@swatches, I will look into that, as it should be showing a button as well, not a hyperlink so I dont know whats going on there ;)

If anyone spots any grammatical errors, please can you let me know. Sometimes you cant see the wood for the trees!

looks real nice

my only issue is if you click on the root of portraits or the sub menus within my travels rather than the end menu options nothing happens. is it worth putting something there? its a minor point though.

Sorry I wasn't very clear. It is an image button but the image containes the 'Read More' text which is fuzzy. I guess the image buttons are supplied as part of the blog package but the image buttons could do with refining so they match the crispness of the fonts used in your body text.
