like the first one, not sure if the second was has too much of a glow around it? My eye seems to be being pulled to the glow rather than the plane :shrug:
The PP isn't to my liking but others will probably find it okay. One thing to avoid (IMO) is having open cockpit aircraft where there is no sign of the pilot (as in the first shot). They generally look wrong....nothing you can do at this angle but it's worth waiting until "Biggles" makes a small appearance over the fuselage side.
Not too sure of the glow effect either, it was a case of vignetting the corners but probably over done, and yes totally agree about not being able to see "Biggles" in the first shot!
Planes not cut out just a very grey and bland sky over Duxford last September! Suppose that's where the idea of vignetting the corners came from to try and add a little more interest.
