Old lenes

My father recently passed away and my mum asked to me sort out all his "junk" shall we say and during this process I found an old flim camera, Praktica MTL50 to be exact and in the bag was also a couple of lenes and i have no idea if they are any good, worth keep and use on my Canon 70D.

The 1st is a Pentacon auto Multi Coating 1.8/50. It has a A - M switch on the barrel.

The 2nd is a Carl Zeiss JENA P1:2.8 F=29mm MC and again has a A- M switch on the barrel.

Any help really appreciated

The lenses should be fine with a suitable Eos-M42 adapter....they're not stunning but they're reasonable quality.

The 50/1.8 is pretty decent actually The 29/2.8 suffers from appalling QC, but if it's a decent copy then it should be OK with nice colours. Adapter will cost you a fiver, lenses worth about £40 together, but far more in sentimental value I suspect.

Edit: the 29/2.8 is a Pentacon made lens, but the last ones were branded Carl Zeiss Jena, which despite being the same lens, command a higher value in the 2nd hand market. So I would revise the estimate up by £20-30.
