took this last night anyone got any thoughts on it im not one for flowers normally but i liked the look of this...:shrug:

Colours quite vivid in that one Dave & sharpness looks pretty spot on. If I were you I'd be tempted to lose some of the empty space at the top of the frame - possibly even a crop of just the flower itself with no background may look nice & abstract

Oooh - you old romantic Lovely contrasting colours of the rose and the background, nice n sharp. Think I'd have been tempted to get rid of the grotty petal at the bottom though...

As Moomike says, would make a good tight crop abstract too.
