One from Scotland

Here is one I took whilst on holiday in Scotland. I have resized and sharpened for the forums and boosted the saturation a little. (maybe to much). I also wish that there were less seagulls but never mind.

This is a very pleasing shot however the centrally placed horizon does make this image a little too neutral. I appreciate you used the rope as a a lead-in however would be tempted to crop just above where the rope leads in on the left as this makes the image look a little more dynamic and you still have the buoy for foreground interest.

I'd go along with that suggestion...it would also put it more in line with the "rule of thirds"

Cropping the picture above the rope and below the tree's reflection would greatly improve the shot. You have the makings of a great shot there, good work

Nice shot, I agree with the other comments but perhaps you could clone out those ropes.
