One of the reasons why I explore (Urban Exploration)

Beautiful abandon :}
May I ask where you took this photograph?

I have followed people posting photos on urban exploration forums and found it fascinating. There are so many places hat are hidden from public view that re at risk of being lost to time. Excellent to see people recording this for future generations.

Cheers guys!

JST - I am jealous of the guys I went out with last May, they are heading back in a few weeks, and because they have all been before, they are arranging to see a few unseen bits! The gits lol

I find it quite a disturbing image. Probably because of the location. And my reaction is no bad thing! But the shapes and the interaction of light and shadow are fantastic.

I wonder what it would look like heavily cropped so there was little outside the first doorway?

I have had a go, and to me, it removes some of the depth of the image...

Lovely shot. I was in Chernobyl/Pripyat in August 2010 and it was a real eye opener. Which building was this taken in?

I too LOVE urban exploration. Where was the shot taken? Me and my urban exploring friends all agree with the following:

Peeling paint = Porn!
