I've just joined. In fact I was thinking of joining my local camera club but they meet on a Monday evening and I can't miss Corrie so an online 'camera club' is ideal. Mind you I am just a beginner and use a basic fuji s1000fd camera which seems to work very well.
I am lucky to live in a rural area and am currently trying to get some shots of woodland pheasants. They are reasonably tame at the moment because it is early in the shooting season (I don't shoot) and they haven't figured out yet that their sole purpose in life is to be blasted out of the sky. Eventually, perhaps in the spring, I'm hoping to have the skills to photograph herons in a nearby lake, well if I can get close enough.
