After months, nay years of uming and ahing, I have ordered my new computer today. Just have to wait now for Apple to start building them.

Have you had a date as to when it will be shipped?

When I spoke to Apple re an order over the phone at the end of last week they were talking as though they were ready to ship

It just say Shipping in November, I'm not that worried really, I can wait another few weeks.

I'll let you know how I get on with the mouse, my main worry is that on my PC I use the middle button A LOT and not to sure if the new mouse can do that.

I received my i7 27" iMac this morning and all I can say is WOW, using this thing is such a pleasure compared to my old MPB, the screen being at 2560*1440 means that your workspace with photoshop and lightroom is beautiful.

Moving onto the speed of the i7's, again this this is lighting fast in comparison, in my eyes it really is the best consumer/prosumer Mac that Apple have ever made.

The magic mouse.... although I hated the idea and had read several reviews where people really disliked it I am the complete opposite, it works as it says it does and is very easy to use, the scrolling feels very natural and very iPhone like.
