Cheers Mike, yeah i seem to be doing quite a bit of it recently. I think where cars are parked with distinct lines, like above, it can work quite well. I would keep the selective bit down to a minimum to add impact but try not to draw away distraction.

Just noticed on that full resolution shot, fine example of the barrel distorsion and softness at the edges of the sigma 10-20mm.

To do the above in CS3....
Select an image
Make it square, don't crop but resize Adjustments - Image Size, and uncheck the constrain properties box.
Once square, Rotate image 180 Degrees, Canvas Options - Rotate Canvas 180 degrees
Now the image is square and upside down, Filters - Distort - Polar Coordinates
This will spin the image around into a circle. If you didnt have it upside down, you would end up with sky in the middle.

Now you know
