A great day of varied club racing at Oulton, and decent weather again. My plan to buy shiny new Sigma lens didn't happen, so I'm still using my crappy Canon 75-300mm USM II for the moment. C&C welcome as always.

1. Ric Wood's lovely DTM Astra

Great set with #5 being my pick - sideways on always appeals to me. Particularly good, traditional Oulton Park image. Colours, panning and lots of action, like them a lot.

Thanks guys, glad you like them. A few more from the meeting:

11. A very nice ex DTM BMW M3

You should have said hi mate, I'd only have been with my Dad. Where did you see me? I was lucky in being in the right place at the right time when Ric Wood's Astra went right in front of me. Huge shame, it's a gorgeous car and bloody fast. I tried 'the traditional Oulton shot' last week but none of them came out. Got quite a few of the Clubmans cars from down there.

Just infront of Island Hairpin. I was walking up and you were walking down. Just after the Legends race and just before the Max5s.

Yeah, it is rather tasty!!

I find hard to get the focus right sometimes, which is a real pain!!

Some wonderful looking cars there for sure! 1 & 11 would have been a lot better if the front of the car wasn't in shade but can't be helped!

Good crips clear shots. Well done!

Thanks, glad you like them. 1 and 11 were taken at about 9 in the morning during qualifying, so the sun was quite low and casting big shadows around. I tried to rescue them as much as I could with my very limited PP skills.
