Oulton Park Gold Cup Saturday Practice & Qualifying

Gold Cup as usual held over the August Bank Holiday. First time in a number of years I have been and decided to go on the Saturday. Might not have been the best choice because, all the parking was on the Rally Stage as the main central area was turned over to the Club Stands and an Auction that was happening on the Monday, and Knickerbrook gates were not open and it was hot and I could not be bothered to walk that far. Next year I will go on the Sunday or Monday. Anyway here are a few from mainly Lodge and Old Hall areas. Any comments welcome.

The first one with the cones out of the roof was unfortunate but do like the fella sleeping!

I went on the Sunday, first time in years I haven't been there the whole weekend.
One of my mates races in it. Was fairly quiet this year.

Here he is, I think he came 3rd on the Monday so want there to see his race. Other friends of mine mechanic for him.
Also had a friend who used to race a Hillman Imp.




Easily my favourite show of the year, such a good variety.

Interesting thing above the Renault above it used to be Jason Plato's.
