Looks as though you've got a nice little set up now Mark. Both the shots of the Lapwing and Oyc are nice and sharp. My only nit about this shot is the cropping. I took a pic of the Oyc at the same distance as you, mine was at 600mm and yours was at 500mm and I had plenty of space around the bird, so I think yours would look a lot better if you gave it a bit more space on the left hand side of the pic in the Oyc shot and if possible have a look at doing the same with the lapwing shot by taking a bit off the L/H side of the bird and put more on the R/H side. This is how I have cropped my effort at it.
