This momument is known as the 'Petal' because of the shape of the roof. This is taken handheld at night, looking up through the open 'petals' of the roof.

This is really nice Rob (and your glacier photos are jaw dropping) I'd kill to go to Pakistan, you must have planned your own trip? No mainstream tour operators seem to touch the place

We planned out trip independantly but did use a local company for guiding. Trekking up the Boltoro Glacier up to Concordia, with amazing views of K2, Broad Peak and the Gasherbrums. Then up over the Gondogoro La. Amazing trip. the Karakorum are staggering. Since 9/11 the tourism industry has virtually collapsed in this area. So these wonderful mountain guides are really struggling.
