OK, I'm off to Thailand with my wife in January and want to get a good quality compact, predominantly for underwater shots. My wife will also be using it as a p&s when not in the water.I am taking my GF1 and 20mm 1.7 for everyday (non water) use. Budget is as near to £200 as possible ;)

So my questions are;

Has anyone used the Panasonic FT10 and can comment on image quality etc?

Has anyone got any first hand suggestions of alternative options to consider?

Any help would be greatfully received :)

Thanks in advance. Alan

I had a waterproof Olympus Mju 770 SW which turned into a waterlogged paperweight . I now have a waterproof Canon D10 which is still waterproof. Of the 2, I reckon the Canon gives better pictures (nicer colours etc), especially above water and is also easier to use. Not as pocketable as the much slimmer Olympuses though but that's the only area where the Oly beats the Canon (IMO).

I've got a Lumix TZ6 and and this Aquapac which is guaranteed waterproof up to 5 metres. I paid £19.99 for mine from 7 Day Shop.
