I can't find anywhere in the camera setting that tells me what FPS it is shooting at.. I am using MP4 Full HD 1920 X 1080
I am guessing this is 25fps so i should set my shutter to 50
But I still get stuttering when panning side to side...
60 shutter seems the best but still not right..

Any tips on best mode for least stutter..

PS moving slow using gimble so pretty smooth but playback has some stutter

The stuttering may be due to the low bit rate of the footage rather than the shutter speed. It might also have something to do with vibration reduction. See if you have a setting for panning or try it without.

Also try panning slower and speeding it up in post.

Cheers for the response :) .. so I found image stabalisation as the only relative thing and it made t worse.... easy enough turn back on haha :) Thanks but still non the wiser :(

Cinematographers say that a pan at 24fps is acceptable if an object takes 7 seconds to cross the entire frame.

I managed the following... Leant a lot... Started on AI but it was over exposing in places so switched to Av and did a bit exposure compensation....

QUESTION .. Given the above video.. Taken wiht said camera and gimble......... Could the same be achieved wiht a camcorder hand held?
