I've just taken and stitched together a 22 image panorama that I'm happy with (composition, lighting, focus, quality etc.), however when looking at the image size in PS, it's giving me approx dimensions of 560cm x 50cm
As I'm intending to print this off and hang it on my conservatory wall, I'm slightly concerned that the proportions won't look right.
The panorama covers approx 210 degrees of viewing and all the photos were taken with the camera in portrait position at a focal length of 70mm using my 24-105L.
Is this the right type of ratio (11:1 or is it 1:11?) or should I re-shoot? If so, how?
It's not really an option to double stack on the height side of things as I'd get too much 'boring' foreground or a load of extra blue & cloudless sky that's not really going to add much! If I zoom in further (could use my 70-200 or 100-400), surely I'd have to shoot more images lengthwise too, which would end up with a similar ration and a much larger file size!!
I'd post or upload a copy of it, but haven't finished playing about with it yet and it's still 750Mb, which will take days to upload on a paltry 1mb download broadband (out in the sticks in Spain!)
Thanks as always
