Can anyone recommend a decent paper cutter for 300gsm photo paper? I bought what I thought was a good one and it just rips up or folds the edge of half the sheets I put through it.

An idea of what you would spend may help and size of paper.
I have a RotatrimRTM30 about £250 with cut size of 76cm (may be too
big for what you require though) superb bit of kit though will cut almost anything !!!! Rotatrim do smaller sizes though www.speedgraphic.co.uk sell single and twin bar models.

It's no bigger than A4 I need. Hypothetical limit of about £50 but I guess if going cheap means my photos are all ruined and my printer out of a job then I'll pay what I must :(
Hadn't realised you could pay near so much for one of them...

Don't use a rota trim, but get a guillotine.

the Mrs uses up to 300gsm card in crafting and the x-cut one she has easily deals with this. the only complaint I have using it is the lack of being square.

There are bigger better ones about in your budget, but to be fair, the one here gets some use/abuse and works fine.

Well that's one good reason for using a Rotatrim you get square not lozenge shaped prints. Buy once, buy well !
