Any reason for the F5.6. Looking at the gallery you have some at F8 too. For most of the shots I think more subject isolation would be good and you have to watch the cropping and leave a bit of space above the head. I'm sure the runners will like them though as they are nice and sharp and showing them in action

Agreed with Simon on the aperture front, specially giving using a f/2.8 lens aswell, plus you could have halfed that ISO and some down from 4000
