What sharpness settings does everyone use ont here DSLR, particularly there Pentax model. Have been using mine at -1. Are there any beniefits to turning it up in cam? or should sharpening be left to post processing.

I have been sharpening in CS3 using the LAB colour mode of sharpening, which claims to sharpen the luminance part of the image, thereby avoiding colour noise. Best way?
 
Yes, I believe the majority do that, will have to experiment with increaseing sharpness in cam, ect. Tnx
 
Have you joined the Pentax User forum, very helpful crowd with lots of relevant knowledge - I'm sure you'll find an answer for your question over there.

Personally I always use RAW on my K20D so couldn't help with the sharpness settings
