I am still on the look out for a replacement compact. I had narrowed it down to the X20 / LX7 or RX100 HOWEVER, I then went on YouTube and saw a Blunty comparison between the Pentax MX1 and the RX100. The Pentax stood up really well and I was wondering whether anyone had any experience of it? Many thanks, Sarah

I tried one and really liked it. Felt good in the hand and the IQ looks really good IMO. Excellent for close up. There are some very good pics using it on flickr too. I went for LX7 partly because we have LX2 and a 3 so it's very familiar + I got it for stupid price. Clifton has MX1 for £229. Under rated I think. Just seems to be one of those that slipped under the radar for many.
