Phone camera sharpness.

[Phil Young]

I'm always so impressed with my Samsung Galaxy S2 camera but the sharpness of it is just amazing (for a camera phone!)

So handy to take photos when I don't have my DSLR...also curious about other good phone camera's if anyone has any experience of? (OTHER THAN THE iPhone...)

100% crop

I must say I am impressed with the S2 camera, although the flash can be a little harsh at times so it would be nice to have the ability to play with flash strength.

Doing video outside on well lit days can also produce some amazing footage.

absolutely amazing pics when you think the camera is free with a phone

Such is technology, very impressive.

For me though, depth of field and low light performance is where all of these devices are sorely lacking, so our 300mm f2.8 lenses have some life left yet.
