Beginner Photo editing

Hi brought a fuji S8600 camera at xmas, and have been taking loads of photo's , can anyone recommended any good,free.easy to use photo editing software please?

Try

Photoscape - just about the easiest editor I have used. Its capabilities are somewhat limited but sometimes does all I want.

For something that does just about everything you will ever need, try GIMP. It can take a long time to get to grips with it, but I guess that is the same for any well featured editor

Hi Tim

If you want to level, crop, frame, adjust colour, brightness, contrast etc ... I think Picasa 3 is good ... it's also my main photo-viewer/organiser on my pc.

If you want to go further: cloning, merging two or more pics together etc ... I think Paint.Net is good and easy to use.

Both are free.

Snapseed is awesome if you run a platform that can take it. I use it on iOS but there's a windows version too [and previously a mac version, but I believe it's gone now!]

I used Picasa as my first, free photo editor and loved it. It has great capabilities for a free program and is really easy to use. It also helps you create an organisation system if you haven't got one yet.
