we recently got our Kodak A4 printer replaced under warranty via pc world

before it went away there was issues with prints ie lines where there shouldnt be and blotching not just that the printer went faulty anyways

since getting it back it is doing the same problem

so i bought new photo paper from focus on imaging today £13 for 50 sheets of matt (really like the look and feel )

and still the same problem lines etc

i have checked all functions in the printer and on the printers software i have a feeling it is because it is 2 single inks and cant cope

am i correct ?

i dont have a lot of money at the moment and i wouldnt mind buying a printer even a used one to get me by for time being ( any recomendations ) i would prefer to print at home rather then Lidl etc

Printing at home doesn't really work out cheaper, when you factor in inks/paper and all the faffing to get the calibrations right etc if you stray from the manufacturers ink/paper.

Somewhere like DSCL will work out a lot cheaper if you are on a budget.
