Photo Vs Poster

I have a nice simple question.

On Togsprint you can order a poster print 18 x 12" for £3

or a photo print 18 x 12" at £8

can you tell me what the difference is?

I ask this question because I had a pic done @ Aldi thinking that they were so much cheaper than any other place, which it seams they are, but not by a lot, and I'd rather support a smaller business if the service is good and pay that bit more

cheers Edd

At a guess the difference will be in the paper - poster will be like a thin semigloss paper whereas the photo print will be on photographic paper that is designed to bring out the colours to their best, give deep blacks, etc.Im sure if you email the company though they will respond pretty quickly with a detailed answer

I'm curious :naughty:
Have used togs print before and did notice the discrepancy, but would like to know the answer as that is a fair difference in price!

Quality would be my concern, you get what you pay for after all.

I was hoping someone here might be able to explain, Im sure its to do with the quality of the print but I would like to know a bit more as im struggling with what media to print on
for different types of images.
