photocopiers

ok my ranting i know that but its saturday am im at work and theres not much going on.

I would really like to know why:

do photocopiers have so many rollers and sections, all of which the paper has to go round!! This causes many a paper jam (espicailly as ours get used so much) and for what i can tell has no real purpose.
So having spent the morning unjamming it and getting covered in toner i would really like to know whats the point of all the rollers???

Maybe your right its to keep companies calling out the enginers, however the NHS is too cheep and makes their nurses do it. Next time im charging a call out fee.
