I keep my glasses on whilst using the camera....

Looks like a simple but good idea Rich, I know I get fed up of pulling mine on and off all the time..

Im sure vision express do something like that and a lot cheaper. I have just got used to perching my bins on my head whilst I shoot.

FIL keeps changing his mind - sometimes he's shooting without his glasses on, then he can't see the screen so he decides to shoot with his glasses on and forgets he's altered the diopter so everything out of focus

They are a bit like an upside down cosmetic frame. Which are a lot lot cheaper.

You have a 7 day return/refund policy so as they come fitted with a plain glass try them for fit how they flip etc and check with your optician that your precription could be fitted to this frame and find out the cost. If your not happy or the optician advises against Then send them back.

Will check out Vision Express for a cheaper alternative, thanks for the suggestion

Might give them a try especially with the money back guarantee.

One good thing about being middle aged, less concerned than those of younger age when wearing something less than fashionable.

If you google Hoodman glasses there are some better prices, and some reviews which confirm my thoughts of getting frames and discussing with optician first as to whether suitable for your sight,

Let us know how you get on.

I don't think I have ever taken my glasses off to look though the viewfinder but I have noticed that since moving from digital to film that the viewfinder magnifications seems higher so it's not so easy to see the entire frame with glasses on.

If you don't need your glasses on to see when you shoot have a look at a pair of magnetic glasses that split in the nose piece and stay round your neck on a cord, then they just join back together when needed.

I think one of the doctors has a pair on one of the CSI programs or something similar.
