I was wondering, if anybody who has photographed these birds would like to share any advice? Are there certain times of the day when they are more active? I understand they must each eat at least their own weight in fish a day, so when they have young to feed is this still the case? which means they would be constantly on the go.

If you know the whearabouts of a nest are they likely to be hunting close to the nest or away from it? or maybe they change their feeding patterns. If they return to the nest with fish for the young, do they tend to fly straight down into the nest on their return? or stop on a nearby perch before checking the coast is clear? I also note that a licence needs to be granted to photograph them near or around a nest site, is that an easy thing to obtain?
Sorry for all the questions, but bit of info no matter how small would be great thanks.

:) Thanks chappers, I had already looked at that site, I will ring that number. In the meantime I was trying to obtain a bit more feedback from personal experiences. Thanks again.
