Hi,
New to forum but not to photography. I have been using photoscape x for editing from various Olympus cameras. I shoot RAW. I recently bought the new OM Systems OM-1 which in my opinion is a fantastic camera but for reasons unknown, photoscape x will not read RAW images. OK with jpg. Does anyone else have similar problems maybe with other programmes too? Any suggestions gratefully received

Not all raw files are created equally and Photoscape x may not read these types of file yet depending how new the system is. There website isnt very helpful on camera support so try emailing them

Thanks very much for your reply and advice. I have emailed them a few days ago but no response yet. Meantime it's either jpg or use the OM workspace system but I don't find it very user friendly and slow. I hope photoscape will do something soon. Thanks again

Welcome to Talk Photography. Have you loaded the Olympus drivers, i.e. can you view the RAW files in standard Windows apps like "Photos"? It might not help anyway but could be worth a try.
