Photoshop CS3 Selected Tool Problem.

Ive opened CS3 in order to edit an image & when i select the clone tool
(or any other tool for that matter) all i get is a hand icon which enables me
to move the image around.

The programme was working yesterday & no settings have been altered.

Any ideas as its driving me nuts.

Tried hitting escape? This will exit most modes like transform etc...

reset your cursor under Edit Preferences/ Cursor, check, Painting Cursor, Normal Brush Tip, other Standard that should do it

edit then close CS3 restart it should be good to go

I tried the Esc button & all is now working.

Not sure if it did the trick or just good timing im not sure but thanks
all the same
