Photoshop Help!

I'm after a bit of Photoshop help, I'm trying to motion blur, large swathes of writing on scanned in pages (old bank statements), whereby certain information is hidden and other parts of the information is left untouched.

I'm trying to do it with one of the lasso tools but it's not very successful, can anyone recommend a better way.

Use the smudge tool.

It's in the blur, smudge and sharpen box.

Hi Use the rectangle selection tool, to select the text you want blurred, then go to Filter, Blur, Gaussian Blur adjust until you cant read your selected Paragraph/sentence, click OK, deselect it, move on to the next part you want blurring HTHs
