Phottix Battery Grip

I've heard decent things about these grips. Can anybody comment more on them?

Most people who've used the grips from the Hong Kong ebay seller have been happy. It seems the only unhappy ones are the ones who've never actually touched them -- but I'm open to suggestions and comments before purchasing (if I purchase).

Yes it's a good piece of kit, imo easily as good as an original Canon grip.

You just need to watch / allow for import duty and VAT charges ! - You're $91 costs might equate to £47 in todays money, but you could end up with aother £20 in charges by the time you get it.

Is that the batteries though or is it a malfunction of the grip?

Well, I can't be 100% sure, but having charged the batteries fully, and left them for about a week (without using them), they are completely flat. My Nikon ones don't do that. The grip is ok though.
