I was glum tonight, so went for a walk in Bournemouth, armed with D700, 24-70 and a tripod, and messed about with some long-ish exposures.

Well I hope you Re not glum about that set of images, there are some great shots in that set. Particularly like the town centre images.

Love five and six. Been to Bournemouth a few times and it never struck me as being the kind of place that would be so quiet at night!

Thank you, yes quite happy with those, might do some more night shots as I quite enjoyed it and I don't do it often!

It wasn't.. these were fairly early on as it was still filling up, and I was waiting for 'gaps'.. lots of girlies not dressed for the cold ;-)

Lovely set! I think the horizon on the pier shot might need adjusting, but that's only going by the angle of the other end of the pier.
I've always like that park that leeds away from the pier and back through town. Are there still a gajillion squirrels there (up on the chines too)?
