Well summer is coming close (yay!), which means I'll be working lots because I'll be at home from uni - and working lots means money and new camera gear!
I was just wondering you opinions on what I should upgrade to and to see if theres any people who have been in my situation and see what they did.
My current gear is:
D200
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
Nikon 50mm f/1.8
Tamron 11-18mm
Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8
Nikon sb-400
Now at the moment the main focal lengths I've been using are my 11-18mm and my 70-200mm - I can't actually remember the last time I used my 17-50mm...
I'm not sure if I want to go full frame or not, the prospect of going full frame is extremely appealing to me and I've been thinking of selling the D200/17-50/11-18 and getting:
D700
16-35mm f/4VR or 17-35mm f/2.8 (I shoot film too so the aperture ring is a bonus for me, but I've heard the 16-35 is a lot better?)
Then maybe an 85mm f/1.8 if I can afford it
Or I've also been thinking of getting a D300s and start looking at taking advantage of the video on it (not sure how good the video is or whether I'd actually use it, as I've never really dabbled in video stuff before...) and maybe get another lens for DX sensor if I get the D300s.
I'm not sure whether its worth upgrading from a D200 to the D300s though? I've honestly never used a camera better than my D200...
That might all sound a bit messy from me but hopefully you get the gist of what I'm asking about? I'm sure you get many people here asking questions like these (I did have a quick flick through the forums but because of the crap search functions on forums in general I couldn't find anything
