Ok, I'll admit it, I haven't got a clue about this stuff. I was just looking around the garden for some bugs for my daughters school project but I couldn't see any so I gave a couple of flowers a blast instead 
These were done hand held with my Tamron 28-75mm using a Raynox 250 and a pop up flash with a cheap diffuser thingy on it. I'd really like some feedback if possible as, like I say, I have no idea about close up/macro.
