Just practicing with my macro lens...
Thought I'd share them for some critique/thoughts/extraction of urine.

#1 doesn't work for me think the numbers on dial on outside all need to be in focus imho.

#2 is OK and principle is right but you have cut off the watch band and in a profile shot like this not a good idea (too tight in frame) also background is busy. You tend to see watch shots like this on shiny black floor and black background.

#3 is the best and is a good showing dof but personally would have ensured writing seiko etc was all in focus.

Good comments and all well made. I can see where you're coming from and couldn't agree more. I'll try and find a shiny black tile or something to stand it on too.
