Please help me decide!

I am looking to upgrade my camera in the next few weeks but i cant decide what to go for, some advice is needed. I like fashion and portrait photography but also have a keen interest in sports so will be doing some sport photography too!

I currently have a 30D and I have been thinking about getting a new 1D MK3 and ditching the 30D, but am torn between that scenario or getting a 2nd hand 1DS MK2 for the fashion/portrait work (which is my main work) and keeping the 30D for sports

I think you have answered your own question. Go for the Mk II and use the 30D for sport.

That's what I'd do if it was my money. The best tool for the job and also has a fairly good go at covering all the bases too.

Yep 1DS Mk2. I'd ditch the 30D too, unless you really need the extra 2fps?

Well i have gone and done it, i've just bought myself a 1Ds Mk2. Mint cond. boxed and only 12k actuations

Now hurry up Mr Postman!!!
