I am going mad can any body please please please help me Have Nikon D300 have following lens:

70 to 300af nikor
18 to 70 afs 1.35

50m AF Nikkor

10.5 Fisheyed

I take cars children my problam is 50 mm is too tight 18 70 too wide I was looking at Nikon 17 55 AF-s F2 but frankly its beyond my budget can any body please advise me what to do:bang:
 
Umm, the 18 goes through 50mm on the way to 70mm and anywhere inbetween, how can it be too wide? It even has greater range than the new one you're thinking of.
 
Chris, i`m not sure what you mean exactly?....:shrug:
 
Why can't you put the 50 on and use your manual zoom that most of us have, your feet? :thinking: :LOL:

Depends what kind of car photography you're doing really, are you shooting from the side of a track or are you doing more posed shots? Because the lenses you've got cover a very useful range for most types of car photography.
