Please recommend a Scanner

I give up!

I've been 'in', and using, IT since before Bill Gates was first put into nappies. I've done some amazing things in that time, no really. But in all that time, I have never, NEVER, been able to get a ******* Canon scanner to work. Ever! :bang::bang::bang:

So, I and my business now need a working scanner quite urgently. Can someone please recommend one.

Min specs:

Must work with OS-X

Must have a flat bed and a sheet feed.

Not fussed about image quality to be honest as this will mainly be used for scanning in documents.

OCR not required.

Must not be ******* Canon.

LOL. One word - Epson.

Soz - can't help you with the particular model you want, but I have an Epson V700 currently and have owned a few Epson scanners and couldn't honestly fault any of them.

I don't think any of the V range come with sheet feeders though they might be an optional extra. My V600 is a good machine and all the V scanners should work with os-x. If you really must have a sheet fed scanner have a look at the multifunction printer/scanners some of them will have feeders.
